It has come to our attention that in recent times some new organizations are emerging in the North America with a seemingly confusing endeavour such as uniting FOBANA. We would like to set some records straight for our valued members’ as well general audiences. These facts are available in our website www.myfobana.com.
- FOBANA is a registered 501 © non-profit organization whose name “FOBANA” is a registered trade mark in the United States Patent and Trademark Office with a registration no. 3,435,038, dated May 27, 2008 in class 36 (U.S. CLS 100, 101 and 102). The mark consists of standard characters without claim to any particular font, style, size or colour with a serial no. 77-282,020, filed 9-18-2007.
- FOBANA is a membership based organization, however, only registered associations or organizations can be a member of this organization. Individuals cannot be a member.
- FOBANA is not a localized organization based on a particular city or state. Officials with tenure of 1 year to serve are elected every year during the annual convention.
There are many established processes for anyone who is interested to suggest anything for FOBANA. They have to be a member of the organization first and then adhere to the rules and regulations of the organization. Then they can bring any ideas or suggestion to the Executive Committee for consideration.
